Aluminium foam panel is a sandwich panel product which is made of two metallic dense face sheets and a metal foam core made of an aluminium alloy.   1. Lightweight: The density is 0.1-0.4 times that of metallic aluminum.
  2. High specific stiffness: Its bending stiffness is 1.5 times that of steel.
  3. High damping and shock absorption performance: The damping performance is 5-10 times that of metallic aluminum. The foam aluminum with porosity of 84% can absorb more than 2.5MJ/m3 of energy when 50% deformation occurs.
  4. Good acoustic function:
      (1) Sound insulation performance (closed cell): the sound insulation coefficient of closed cell foam aluminum is more than 0.9 when the sound frequency is between 800-4000HZ.
      (2) Sound absorption performance (micro through-hole and through-hole): when the sound frequency is between 125 & 4000HZ, the maximum sound absorption coefficient of through-hole foam aluminum can reach 0.8, and its octave average sound absorption coefficient exceeds 0.4.
  5. Excellent electromagnetic shielding performance: when the electromagnetic wave frequency is between 2.6-18GHz, the electromagnetic shielding capacity of foam aluminum can reach 60-90dB.
  6. Good thermal performance: closed cell foam with 80-90% porosity, equivalent to marble. Through hole foam aluminum has good heat dissipation under forced convection due to its interconnected holes.
